Cowbridge Design believes that sustainability is an increasingly important part of the design process. Fortunately, adopting a more sustainable approach to building projects is not difficult. We aim to design and detail buildings to reduce fabric and ventilation heat loss, so that less energy is required to heat buildings, and by designing for good levels of natural day-lighting and appropriate levels of sun-light, whilst avoiding overheating of the building

Here at Cowbridge Design we are committed to sustainability with our underlying objective being to efficiently maximise the potential of any scheme, whilst striving to minimise its impact on the environment.

We would be eager to explore a variety of alternative energy sources with our Clients, including Biomass boilers, photovoltaic panels and heat pumps. In addition low impact building materials and water harvesting.
